TEA IN THE GARDEN ON SATURDAY WITH BERNIDEEN...#5

THE WEATHER IS SO BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING IS TURNING GREEN, AND THE FLOWERS ARE BLOOMING, AND THEY LOOK SO LOVELY. MY DAUGHTER JACKIE AND I HAD OUR WEDNESDAY LUNCHEON ON THE PATIO IN THE SCREEN HOUSE. WE WERE LUCKY THE WEATHER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL.

A LITTLE CUP OF FRIENDSHIP WITH A BAG OF TEA,
WHEN YOU DRINK THIS ,
THINK OF LOVE FROM ME.
THE GARDENS ARE STARTING TO ALL COME TOGETHER, THE FLOWERS ARE STARTING TO BLOOM, THE SUNDIAL ANGEL IS READY TO GO.
TEA CHIMES, THAT PLAY THEIR OWN SONG.
BEAUTIFUL ORANGE ROSES.
MY DAUGHTER'S FLOWER GARDEN IS BLOOMING SO NICELY.
BEAUTIFUL...
THESE ARE WILD BLUEBERRIES, THEY GROW WILD ALL AROUND US. IN A WEEK OR SO THEY WILL BE BLUE AS CAN BE, BUT THEY WILL ALSO BE GONE. THE BIRDS EAT THEM AS SOON AS THEY RIPEN.
TEA IN THE GARDEN ........A PERFECT TEA CLOTH
WEDNESDAY'S TEA WITH JACKIE........WE STARTED WITH MUSSELS BUTTER AND GARLIC SAUCE, BRIE CHEESE WITH PEAR TOPPING, CRACKERS AND CHOPPED LIVER AND TOAST ROUNDS.
I MADE BROILED FLOUNDER, WITH BAKED POTATOES WITH BUTTER AND SOUR CREAM, MASHED YAMS WITH BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR, AND FRESH STRINGBEANS.
I MADE A DISH OF BOW TIE PASTA, VODKA SAUCE, CHICKEN, 2 KINDS OF CHEESE, AND HERBS, TOPPED WITH FRESH BASIL.
FOR DESSERT I MADE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE, AND COOKIES.
FLOWERS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE CENTER OF YOUR TABLE.
TEA IN THE GARDEN, MUST FILL THE BIRD FEEDERS.
OH, AND I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO MEET JACKIE'S NEW ADDITION TO HER GARDEN, MR AND MRS DUCK AND THEIR DUCKLINGS.
EVERTHING IS GROWING, AND IT IS SO HEALTHY LOOKING.
WE HAVE A LOT OF REAL SQUIRRELS THAT VISIT US, BUT NEVER STAY THAT LONG, I GUESS BECAUSE OF ALL THE ANIMALS WE HAVE, THESE LITTLE GUYS DON'T MIND THEM AT ALL.
MORE FLOWERS BLOOMING.
TEA IN THE GARDEN IS SO LOVELY, WITH THE FLOWERS BLOOMING, THE BIRDS SINGING, AND A NICE CUP OF TEA. RIZZI

  1. Oh my what a delicious meal - my hubby loves seafood and of course we don't get it here like you have! The mussels were familiar in Virginia where I grew up but I never was very knowledgeable about making shellfish. I really admire you! This meal and your decorations and garden are very lovely!

  3. Rizzi, I have been at a workshop for work all day for the past three days, I think tea in your garden sounds perfect after all the sitting inside, freezing, and learning until my brain wants to pop!
    Have a great day,
    Meredith

  8. Oh I just love it all! let's see here, I'll take a generous helping of the pasta...because I'm Italian and it's the way I roll....and then, instead of tea, I'll have a coffee with anything sweet!

the flowers are beautiful....so is that darling tea pot!
I feel as though I spent the afternoon with you darling!

hope you have more gorgeous weather.

    ciao bella

  9. WOW! You girls sure do it up on Wednesday. I love all your photos. I had to take down my hummingbird feeder. I was totally bummed. It attracted too many ants and they are already a big problem. :)
